Fokker F VII
- On May 8-9, 1926, Lt. Cmdr. Richard E. Byrd, acting as navigator, and Floyd Bennett as pilot, flew a Fokker F VII from Kings Bay, Spitsbergen, over the North Pole and back. Their aircraft Josephine Ford is on display at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan.
- Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith and Capt. Charles T. P. Ulm, Australians, and two American navigators, Harry W. Lyon and James Warner, crossed the Pacific from Oakland to Brisbane. They went via Hawaii and the Fiji Islands in a Fokker F.VII (May 31–June 8, 1928). Southern Cross, the first to fly from the U.S. to Australia is preserved at Brisbane Airport.
