Albatros D V
This German biplane was widely used and well known in its time. Many notable aces flew D V's. Manfred von Richthofen, for example, scored most of his victories in the Albatros, and not in the Fokker DR I triplane as legend implies.
Of the D V-series, there is evidence that 2505 or more were ordered. However, there are only two known survivors:
